Unfortunately, Mark and Moira’s trip to Uganda was cut slightly short due to unforeseen circumstances at home, however the trip was still successful and we’re pleased to report the work of the SPE was completed.
Our donation helped towards the major refurbishment project at the Kyabirwa Children’s Centre where each year 180 disadvantaged or orphaned pre-school children can go to learn with the opportunity to proceed on to Primary School.
Sharon Webb, Country Manager for Soft Power Education, said:
“On behalf of all of us at Soft Power Education, I would like to say a huge thank you for the donation you made to Soft Power Education via Moira and Mark. The entire site has been completely transformed and looks fantastic. It is only because of the generosity of individuals like yourself that we have been able to achieve so much.”
Nigel Open, Operations Director for Vinyl Solutions, said:
“We’re delighted that we were able to donate to this great cause, and although it was a shame for Mark and Moira that their trip had to be cut short – we’re delighted that the aid effort was successfully completed and we’ve contributed to making a difference for the Children’s Centre in Uganda.”
