Our latest interview is with Jade Crawford, who recently joined our team as Strategic Partnerships Manager:

1. What is your role at Vinyl Solutions and what does it involve?

My role of Strategic Partnership Manager will be focused on maximising the opportunities we have been given by some of the leading holiday home park operators, alongside providing a premium decking solution to our customers with their vision at the forefront of everything we do. My goal is to strengthen the relationships we have alongside forming new, sustainable partnerships moving forward.

2. What past experiences have prepared you for this role?

As I’ve been working within the holiday home industry for the last 15 years I feel incredibly well prepared for my career with Vinyl Solutions, I understand the desires from a customers perspective having started my career at Weymouth Bay Holiday Park as a Receptionist, right through to understanding the commercial aspect during my most recent role with Parkdean Resorts as a Regional Sales Manager. My insights during all roles throughout my 15 year career, I’m sure will compliment my role within Vinyl Solutions.

3. What aspect of the role are you most excited about?

I’m really excited about seeing the direct result of my efforts within the office & out on parks which is very rewarding.

4. What are your interests or hobbies outside of work?

I have a beautiful Dachshund called Dotty, we love to explore the South Coast taking long walks whenever we can!

5. What is one interesting fact about you that not many people know?

I’m doing a walk for charity in May this year, I’ll be walking continuously 100km/62miles from London to Brighton with no sleep! I’m aiming to beat my time of 28hrs which I achieved last year when I completed 100km/62miles along the Jurassic Coastline.

6. Favourite food?

Thai has been my favourite type of food since I first explored the country in 2014.

7. Favourite UK holiday destination?

Scotland… It has always felt like home to me with a large proportion of my family living in Perth, Kinross. I adore the landscape & lochs but not the cold weather, hence why I live on the beautiful South Coast.
