Our latest interview is with Richard Tape, our Finance Director who joined the business in 2021:

1. How long have you worked at Vinyl Solutions?

20 Months 

2. What is your favourite thing about working at Vinyl Solutions?

The people are fantastic. The team functions so well and there’s a real positive drive to achieve great things.

3. What is your favourite thing to do outside of work?

I like most sports, but I have recently found myself gravitating towards Golf and Paddleboarding. I’m not very good at either but I thoroughly enjoy both.

4. What one piece of advice would you give to a 16-year-old version of yourself?

Make sure you enjoy yourself. Whatever it is, work, sports, everything – have fun. When you’re older and you look back at your life, have no regrets.

5. What is your favourite season (Winter/Spring/Summer/Autumn)?

Summer, although you could sometimes mistake the English summer for Winter!

6. Sweet or Savoury?

Sweet – you can’t beat a good chocolate cake!

7. If you could have one superpower, what would it be and why?

The ability to regularly forecast the Euromillions lotto numbers!

8. Share an interesting fact or talent that most people don’t know about you.

I’m a black belt in Taekwondo. However, my training lapsed a good few years ago and I am now quite a bit less flexible than the sports demands.
