Vinyl Solutions has worked with local business The Broadwey Group, on behalf of the Victoria Education Centre to help refurbish their holiday chalet at Rockley Park in Poole, Dorset.
About the Victoria Education Centre
The Victoria Education Centre located in Branksome in Poole has students ranging for the age of 3 to 19 with physical disabilities or complex medical/neurological conditions, with some sadly having life limiting conditions.
Nine years ago the school gratefully received, through an amalgamation of two charities, a holiday chalet based at Rockley Park. The chalet offers students and their families a place to go to spend precious time together.
Over the years the chalet, due to lack of funds, had sadly deteriorated and was in need of refurbishment. The Broadwey Group approached local businesses to help support a complete renovation.
Our support
Vinyl Solutions supported the initiative by helping provide a brand new uPVC decking space for the chalet. The decking greatly improved the outdoor space surrounding it.
Ben Hart, Managing Director at Vinyl Solutions said:
“The work that the Victoria Education Centre does in supporting and teaching disabled children and young adults is fantastic.”
“When we heard about the Victoria DIY SOS appeal, we were very keen to support it. Being able to help build the new uPVC deck outside their chalet is the least we can do to help. Hopefully this will further help the children and their families enjoy their time together at the chalet.”
