From a security point of view, caravans with decking, skirting and gates will be safer as access is not as easy.

And, from a family’s perspective, the actual decking itself is safe for children and dogs to crawl, roll and lay on. It is waterproof, stain resistant, slip resistant, durable and fire retardant.

Comfort

There is nothing better than being able to pull up in the car, outside your caravan, and get straight on to your decking for a nice cold drink…and relax!

Insulation

A more practical point but decking with skirting will provide some added insulation for your caravan, meaning that in the colder months, heat will not escape underneath your caravan or lodge as much as it would if you didn’t choose to have it.

Added Value

If or when you come to sell your caravan, having decking and skirting will make it an easier sell. If someone doesn’t have to do any work and can move straight in, it will be a lot more appealing to them. It will also mean that financially, it’s worth more too.
