Adam joined the Vinyl Solutions Operations team back in 2018. He’s now part of the furniture and a key member of our Technical Sales Support Team.
We caught up with Adam to reflect on his first 2 years and to find out more about him:
What attracted you to the position and how did you find out about it?
Renting a flat with a girlfriend, two rabbits and two horses was a big contributing factor in the need for a job! However, meeting Ben (Hart) and Nigel (Open) really helped sway me that this was the right company to work for.
What were your first impressions of Vinyl Solutions?
As said the first impressions were the two directors, both Ben and Nigel were friendly welcoming people. The rest of the team were the same and supportive from the start, you quickly feel part of the family.
In short, what is typical working day like at Vinyl Solutions?
Arrive and start work at 8am, run through the fitting schedule for the next few days. Create drawings / kit lists to pass down to the guys in production to get ready for collection and delivery. Problem solving and dealing with Fitters/Customers queries is also a common part of my day at Vinyl.
How have you got to where you are today?
I started working at my father’s Shelving, Racking and Mezzanine Floor business straight from college in 2012. After gaining lots of experience there in sales, contracts, design, marketing and general life I decided to spread my wings a bit and move on with my career. Between then and now I have worked in office furniture and software sales.
