4 Reasons why ‘Staycations’ are on the Rise

  • On 06/07/2020

It’s not surprising that with the events of 2020, ‘Staycations’ are set to become more popular than ever before. People still want to get away, but they’ll find somewhere in the UK to vay-cay.

Holiday parks are now booking up for the summer months as families have a clear idea of where they want to go.

OK, so we can’t always guarantee the weather in the UK, but here are some advantages of staycations:

1. Convenience

Let’s face it, going abroad can be a bit of a mission, especially if you have children in tow. You need to remember everything but the kitchen sink.

Going to a holiday park, either as a holiday or a holiday home owner, means just throwing whatever you want to take in the car and off you go!

Plus, no dreaded airport queues that drive even the most mild-tempered person to their limits…

2. Affordability

Flights, accommodation, meals out and entertainment soon adds up on a holiday abroad. The beauty of a holiday park is that you can be there within a couple of hours, you can get a supermarket delivery straight to the static caravan, meaning you can eat in (or outside on your beautiful decking) and not resent paying for a meal that’s pushed around the plate.

3. Environmentally Friendly

It’s a no-brainer that it’s way better for the planet to holiday locally than flying abroad. You can pat yourself on the back that you’re being green and still have an awesome beach vacation!

4. Safety

It does seem to be all anyone talks about; ‘stay safe, stay home’ but with a holiday park, you’ll have your own caravan or lodge, with your own outside space, local to some lovely beaches and parks, that have tons of outside space, away from the crowds in towns.

At Vinyl Solutions, we are proud to work in partnership with major Holiday Park operators across the UK, providing decking and fencing for caravans, holiday homes and lodges.
